Florian Bieche – Project Development

Project Development

Evaluate ideas. Build prototypes. Convince stakeholders.

I either bring new ideas or get called in when there are some. Then I get to work: evaluate, conceptualise, build a prototype, and present my findings — until the proof of concept is in place.

I'm not a project manager. I'm a project developer. I don't manage timelines — I create what goes on them.

How I work

When a new idea is on the table, I start doing. Not planning, not researching, not waiting — but getting hands-on. I build a first prototype, test assumptions, and see what works. Only then come strategy and presentation.

In parallel, I organise the right conversations, connect the relevant people, and develop presentations around my findings. The goal: convince all stakeholders and kick off at least one proof of concept. Ideally, I then continue to accompany the project.

What I develop

App concepts

From idea to working prototype. UX, information architecture, technical concept.

Content hubs

Central destinations for your knowledge. Editorial concept, structure, workflow.

Platforms

Digital products that go beyond a website. Concept, coordination, launch.

Campaigns

Integrated communication campaigns. Online and offline, with strategy and substance.

E-learning

Digital learning formats that people actually use. Interactive experiences instead of lifeless slide decks.

What sets me apart from a project manager

A project manager administrates. I develop. The difference: I can write a concept and at the same time understand what the developer needs to do with it. I bring journalistic clarity, technical understanding, and the ability to win people over for an idea.

Project development, for me, means: build first, convince second. Not the other way around.

My approach

Evaluate the idea

What's really behind it? I examine whether the idea holds up — or whether it sounds good but delivers no value.

Build a prototype

I start making. Not a concept paper, but something tangible: a prototype, a demo, a minimum viable product.

Convince stakeholders

Organise conversations, connect the right people, present findings. Goal: kick off at least one proof of concept.

Accompany

Once the PoC is in place, I guide the next phase: scaling, iteration, handover to the internal team.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is project development?

Project development means taking an idea and turning it into something concrete. From concept through execution to live operation. I develop digital products, platforms, and campaigns with substance.

Do you code yourself?

I come from an IT background and understand code. For the technical implementation, I work with specialised developers. My focus is on concept, coordination, and quality assurance.

What kind of projects have you delivered?

App concepts, content hubs, e-learning platforms, digitalisation projects in large corporations, startup launches. The range is broad — the common thread is always the same: ideas that work.

How long does a project take?

That depends on the scope. An app concept can be ready in a few weeks. A content hub takes two to three months. Complex platforms take longer. We define the scope together.
